To provide emergency shelter and coordinate access to needs-based community services for the most challenged homeless in a faith-based setting.
Our vision includes that by the year 2020, RRCH will be recognized as the first option for homeless men and women with multiple challenges to securing permanent housing. RRCH will also be regarded as the first overflow alternative to existing VA Shelters for meeting the needs of homeless veterans. By 2020, through expanded or newly acquired facilities, RRCH will be able to provide emergency shelter for four or more families with multiple children, including boys over the age of 10. RRCH will be able to offer 12-18 months of transitional housing to residents who have successfully completed the emergency shelter pathway but have not yet secured alternative or permanent housing.
